The Hartford Wanderers RFC are pleased to announce that we have signed an agreement with the Town of East Hartford’s Parks and Rec. Department to use Goodwin Park as our game field for Spring 2010, hopefully allowing us to build a relationship for future seasons.  Last year saw the Wanderers playing at Colt Park in Hartford but due to lack of secure parking, dirt bikes and ATVs driving across the field during matches, and field conditions we were looking to make a move. With the move to Goodwin Park we hope to see the attendance at our matches rise as the Park is much more “family orientated”, with a playground just a short distance from the field for kids and adequate off-street parking in a secluded residential neighborhood. Our two home matches this Spring are on April 17 and May 1 with a 1:00 kick-off. **Note: Alcohol is not allowed at the Town’s Facility**. After the match please feel free to join the team at the Red Rock Tavern in Hartford. Hope to see you there.

Goodwin Playground Park: Entrance is off of Maple Street. There will be a small sign on the left (right next to a huge mansion, so you may miss it the first time while looking at the house).
