The Wanderers success on the field is surpassed only by the Club’s off-field achievements. The club is committed to developing rugby’s stature in the community. As such, the Wanderers continue to be active is supporting various national and local charities.

Over the past years, the Wanderers have supported many national charitable foundations and causes by participating actively in their fundraising activities. The most notable of these charities include; Habitat-for-Humanity, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Aside from national organizations, the Wanderers continue to strive to be an active participant in the local community as well.  The Wanderers have sponsored toy drives for the Goodspeed Opera House to benefit underprivileged children. The Club has also volunteered at several local events including the 2005 PGA Buick Open, and the City of Hartford’s annual “Taste of Hartford” festival.
